River Tours
Paddle down the river with us! Each spring and summer the River Parkway Trust offers guided kayak and canoe tours on the San Joaquin River. Our trained guides will provide you with the necessary equipment and teach you basic paddling skills. Reservations are required for all tours; participants must be 12 or older.
Low Ropes Course
Come experience the brand new Low Ropes and Challenge Course at Owl Hollow, the Trust’s riverfront, 6-acre property located near the River Center! The River Parkway Trust designed this course to provide teams a chance to develop the skills necessary for staff training taking on the inherent challenges we experience in life.
Recreation Programs
The River Parkway Trust offers a variety of family-friendly recreation programs throughout the year, including guided nature walks, family scavenger hunts, and seasonal events. These activities are designed to engage all ages, allowing families to explore and learn about the San Joaquin River’s natural beauty and ecology together.
U-Pick Days at Sumner Peck Ranch
The River Parkway Trust is thrilled to invite you to the upcoming U-pick season at Sumner Peck Ranch (14439 N. Friant Road, Friant, CA 93626)! Lace up your boots and grab your baskets, it’s time to go fruit picking!
Build Your Own Program
Looking for more fun? Book a day with a combination of activities. Your day can include up to TWO different programs including a nature walk, a River Tour, a scavenger hunt, or the Low Ropes Course. Total time is approximately 6 hours including shuttling between sites if necessary and a 30-minute lunch break.
