A native Californian, Nicole has been passionate about natural spaces since she was a child. Some of her most treasured memories are spending time at the Youth Science Institute at Alum Rock Park in San Jose, learning about local plant life and getting to meet some of the local inhabitants - including California kingsnakes, wild turkeys, and a great horned owl.
This passion has led to a lifetime of exploring the world around her, both local and abroad. She spent time as a nanny in Ireland, a job which allowed her to travel across Europe and parts of Asia. Her biggest dream is to dip her toes into every major body of water on earth.
In her spare time, Nicole loves to cook, read, tell stories, and bond with friends and family over a good scary movie.
