Eli currently attends Clovis Community College and is working towards his associate degree in mathematics. He enjoys hiking, camping, and learning all he can about nature. Eli has been attending River Camp since he was 7 years old and had always hoped to continue his River Camp journey on the San Joaquin as a staff member. Eli worked as a counselor at River Camp Rangers at Owl Hollow in summer 2022, was a Field Trip Programs Facilitator with the Trust during the spring semester of 2023 and was a River Camp Spring Break Mentor this past April. He loves spending time by the river while teaching children about the environment. This summer he looks forward to being outside at Scout Island, soaking up all the natural beauty around him. He is also looking forward to leading camp activities and helping to give the campers a positive camp experience like he had as a child.
