Aubrey Olson attended the River Parkway Trust’s River Camp programs as a camper and volunteer throughout her childhood until she became a counselor in 2018. Through hard work and dedication, she transitioned to a Leadership Team position in 2020 as a Head Counselor and is thrilled to transition into the Young Explorers Camp Director role this summer, 2023. She recently graduated from California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo with her bachelor’s degree in liberal studies, obtaining a minor and concentration in Child Development. Currently she is pursuing her multiple subject teaching credential at Fresno State University. In Aubrey’s off time, she enjoys discovering new hikes and areas to explore. River Camp and the River Parkway Trust have greatly impacted her life. She believes deeply in the Mission of the River Parkway Trust and the values that come with it. She loves to be around children and to teach youth about environmental science. River Camp and the Trust are two of the main reasons she wanted to become a teacher. She is so excited to spend this summer with preschool campers.
