April Blair is a Fresno native who has spent the last ten years frame-working various recreational curriculums across California to include environmental and social impact awareness. She started with the River Parkway Trust in 2021 with her involvement in River Camp and has since ventured deeper into the environmental sector with involvement in Wilderness and Leave No Trace Trainings, Partnerships with the National Park Service, and recently met with famous Yosemite Park Ranger Shelton Johnson.
April spends her free time finding new adventures for her and her 3 year old daughter, kayaking, camping, volunteering at local community gardens, and belting showtunes. She hopes to use her expertise to bridge the gap for her fellow BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities and create safe outdoor spaces for all to enjoy. She is beyond excited for Summer 2023!
