River Center
The River Center is a facility of the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust
that was Deeded to the community by Vulcan Materials Company in April 2001
At the River Center, you can connect with the culture and natural history of the San Joaquin River through art and educational exhibits, programs, and activities, gardens, and links to pedestrian and bike trails. There is something for everyone at the River Center. Programs like storytelling, river-inspired art workshops, readings by local authors, gardening classes, and kids' crafts keep the place bustling with activity year-round. The River Center has a restored 1890s ranch house, rose garden, orchard, vineyard, and picnic area. The grounds and historic ranch house are available to rent for business meetings.
Location: 11605 Old Friant Road, Fresno, CA 93730; Just 10 minutes East of the Highway 41 Friant Road exit.
Hours of Operation: Grounds - Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday-Sunday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
Riverview Ranch House and River Store - Saturday and Sundays, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (Closed during the month of January)
Entry Fee: Free; donations are encouraged.

Art Gallery
You won't want to miss the fantastic art exhibits on display at the River Center's restored 1890s Ranch House. We work with local artists and rotate exhibits throughout the year. You can view the art exhibits during normal operating hours: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays
Photography Permit
The River Center is a great backdrop for all your celebrations! Ranch House Exhibits
Browse a variety of exhibits relating to the culture, nature, and history of the San Joaquin River and environs. Exhibits are available to the public when the River Center is open, Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.
Hidden Homes Trail
This 1/2 mile footpath features larger-than-life-sized animal homes created by local artists for visitors to climb in, on, and around to experience firsthand what other species must consider surviving.
River Store
The River Store is located in the Welcome Center, where you can find books, toys, and gifts for your nature enthusiast. All artists/vendors are local.
