Volunteer with River Tours!

Become a River Tours Volunteer and kayak/canoe the San Joaquin once a month for free!  Volunteers assist with shuttling participants between the put-in and take-out points for each tour, loading and unloading boat trailers, and group management on the water.  Volunteers are asked to assist with at least one trip a month.  Most trips only require one volunteer.  All volunteers must have a valid driver's license and their own vehicle (or access to a vehicle), be able to climb a ladder, and be able to lift 40 lbs.  To become a volunteer you will need to attend at least two of the five training sessions (one dry land, one downriver).
