Born and raised in Fresno, California, Ryan earned his B.S. from CSU Fresno in Criminology with a Forensic Behavioral Science option. He spends a good amount of time outside whether that's hiking or camping, though when not outside he likes to read, exercise, or craft. Ryan's hope for working in this field is to help bring more opportunities for the public to enjoy the San Joaquin River and to also better educate the community on the river's ecological significance.
