Gabriel is from Fresno, CA, and has an associates degree in Recreation Leadership. From a young age, he always been interested in shows about animals. One of Gabriel's biggest role models as an animal conservationist was Steve Irwin. He was a major influence in the reason for his interest in animal conservation. Gabriel believes it is very important for us as humans to care about animals and to help protect their habitat as well as other important factors in their lives. Gabriel is a history buff and a reptile nerd, and enjoy observing reptiles in the foothills and central valley. He is excited to work for the Trust and values protecting the San Joaquin River for both human use and animal conservation purposes.
