Elizabeth Sperling is a junior transfer student at Fresno State pursuing a Bachelor's in Anthropology (the study of the origins of mankind) with an emphasis on culture. Elizabeth enjoys walking around Woodward Park as often as she can and making time for more ambitious hikes along the parkway properties and further north towards Yosemite. She has worked at the Parkway Trust over multiple summers as a Head Counselor at River Camp and has decided to join the field trip team to make the fun last year-round! She is most excited about delving into the local plant life on nature walks and the significance of each plant to the area's Indigenous communities.
