Marissa’s River Camp Superpower is being a calm presence in the crazy fun that is River Camp. Having spent seven summers as a camper herself and two summers as a counselor, Marissa understands the patience, adaptability, and positive energy that is needed every day at camp. As the director of Young Explorers, she creates an environment where young campers can express big emotions, try new and exciting activities, and build their confidence while being independent for the first time. Her steadiness during busy and unpredictable camp days allows campers and counselors alike to feel comfortable and confident to explore, grow, and have fun all at the same time.
