Irene Romero joined the San Joaquin River Park and Conservation Trust, Inc. board in August 2022. She currently serves on the Audit and Parties on the Parkway committees. Having lived very close to the river for over thirty years and watching all the progress in preserving and restoring the San Joaquin River, her goal is to promote access and education to this beautiful local treasure. Irene is a lifelong resident of the central valley. She retired in 2014 from Fresno County after over thirty-three years of service. Her last twenty years were in the area of information technology.
