Parties for the Parkway
Parties for the Parkway has been the River Parkway Trust's largest public fundraising events program for the last 27 years. Parties for the Parkway is a volunteer-led program that includes the Parties for the Parkway Artists Reception in February, the Parties for the Parkway Kickoff and Art Auction in March, and a plethora of small, medium and large-sized parties throughout the year hosted by community members, businesses and organizations.
This program is a great opportunity for your business to be seen by River Parkway Trust members and donors who attend parties. The Parties for the Parkway Kickoff event attracts over 400 guests and individual parties that follow attract over 1,000 individual guests. In addition to recognition at events throughout the year, logo recognition in the Parties for the Parkway catalog is a premier opportunity to be seen. Each year over 4,000 of our donors and program participants receive a beautifully designed Parties for the Parkway book in the mail that includes a listing of the current year parties, art, and auction items available for purchase.

River Camp Firebaugh
Sponsorship opportunity for River Camp Firebaugh 2020 is available now! CLICK HERE to view the most recent sponsorship packet.
In 2012, the River Parkway Trust identified the community of Firebaugh as a great site to launch a River Camp program to serve youth in the community of Firebaugh and surrounding Westside communities. This unique program offers the River Camp experience to youth in underserved and disadvantaged agricultural communities that would not otherwise have the opportunity to experience and learn about the San Joaquin River.
This program continues to grow and in recent years, thanks to our generous corporate and individual sponsors, we have been able to expand the River Camp summer program in Firebaugh from two weeks to six weeks. This is a great opportunity for local businesses to gain visibility in Firebaugh and the surrounding Westside communities.

Respite by the River
Respite by the River is one of the River Parkway Trust's long-time community programs, taking place at the River Center during the spring, summer and early fall. Respite by the River celebrates local authors and musicians in our community by providing a beautiful setting for readings and musical performances in front of the restored Riverview Ranch House.
Each year there are six to seven individual Respite by the River events between April and October, each featuring a local author and musician or musical group, attracting crowds of 75 to 150 people at each event. This is a great opportunity for your business to gain visibility to people interested in the musical and literary arts as well as general visitors to the River Center.

Sycamore Island Park Operations
Sponsorship opportunity for the Sycamore Island 2020 season will be available soon! CLICK HERE to view the most recent sponsorship packet.
The River Parkway Trust has operated the original 350-acre property since 2013, and it has become one of the most visited destinations on the Parkway with over 13,000 visitors last year alone. We are excited that in 2018, we were able to increase access on this site by opening an adjacent piece of land called the Van Buren Unit adding 270 acres and 1.5 miles of riverfront for people to enjoy. Sycamore Island has three access points to the river for canoeing and kayaking. While this site is popular for boating and fishing, it also has several miles of dirt roads that provide an excellent surface for trail running, walking, mountain biking and horseback riding. At Sycamore Island, there are three covered picnic shelters and a bait shop that sells bait, snacks, and beverages.
In 2019, we anticipate more visitors to this site through our growing program activities such as school field trips, running races, fishing derbies, and boating activities. This is a great opportunity for businesses to gain visibility to over 13,000 annual visitors by utilizing our new sponsor perks including visibility on our website and social media, the Sycamore Island printed maps, and a banner at the site for all visitors to see.

An investment in our Valley

Research shows that access to recreation in natural spaces is essential for the physical, environmental, social, and economic health of a community.
