Join us for an afternoon of fun at Sumner Peck Ranch! During this program your Youth Naturalist will participate in the following activities:
Nature Walk: travel along a trail by the river, learning about the plants and animals who call the San Joaquin River home.
Oh Deer: in this game children will either be a deer looking for resources to survive or the resources themselves. Deer will have to compete to get the resources they need by racing past the others. Grab your running shoes!
Fairy Houses: build your own home for a forest fairy using only materials found on the ground.
Arrowhead necklaces: create your own necklace out of an arrowhead and beads while talking about how we as people get what we need to survive
This adventure requires your child to be between the ages of 6 and 9 to participate. Please note that there is a $15 fee per child and advanced registration with online payment is required for participation.
