PARTY #33
TINY CABINS, BIG TREE
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24   10:00 AM
SIERRA NATIONAL FOREST

Back by request, come spend a few hours off the grid and in the woods. This six-acre oasis at 3800’ foot elevation is a 45 minutes drive into the Sierra National Forest. Melinda and her Uncle Ed have built a community of four tiny cottages out of reclaimed wood. While wandering the property you’ll hear the story of how the idea for the four cottages blossomed and how they were built. With Leah as our chef, this group of friends will serve you an extraordinary lunch in the woods! Wear your sturdy shoes for the short but steep hike to the top of the hill to see our massive Canyon Live Oak, recently certified as being one of the five largest oaks worldwide! End the afternoon with a guided meditation by yoga instructor Michael Downing and refreshing drinks in a grove of manzanita trees.
