Join fourth-generation walnut farmer Mike Thomas on his family farm between Tulare and Visalia and his walnut hulling operation at the peak of harvest. Mike will join us for lunch, a tour of the ranch and a discussion of why and how Mike has transitioned from traditional farming to organic these past 5 years. You will also visit the organic blueberry farm recently started by Mike Thomas and Susan Smith and hear about marketing fresh organic blueberries.
