Kevin Blair is a bee keeper who keeps 50 hives on the Hallowell Ranch. The value and importance of bees on the planet is immeasurable. This is a great opportunity to learn about bees and their use in local agriculture. Kevin will bring a demonstration hive and help us understand more about the essential role these fascinating pollinators play in our Valley's ecosystem. After the demonstration, enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner in the Hallowell's historic barn -- featuring honey, of course -- while listening to live music.
