Take a break from the rush of everyday life and join the River Parkway Trust for a Respite by the River. Bring your picnic dinner, blanket, and lawn chair, and relax at the River Center while you enjoy music provided by talented local musicians. Then you'll enjoy a reading by a Central Valley author.
The evening schedule is as follows: 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Live dinner music, bring your dinner, lawn chair, or blanket 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - Reading by acclaimed author
Charles Radke
Chuck Radke's memoir, Stuccoville: Life Without a Net (WiDo), came out in January, 2021. His creative nonfiction has appeared in Stoneboat Literary Journal, Sierra Nevada Review, Palante, Showbear Family Circus, HASH, and others. His short fiction has appeared in Cold Lake Anthology, Mud Season Review,
The San Joaquin Review, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Gulf Stream Magazine, and The South Dakota Review. He is the recipient of an AWP Intro Award for fiction and the Estelle Campbell Prize for literature from the National Society of Arts and Letters.
