Join guide Frank H. to view the spectacular spring wildflowers and other wildlife present along the banks of the San Joaquin River at Ball Ranch. Signs of spring will be all around us as we explore the ancient oaks on site. Frank H. is a retired environmental educator and current interpreter for the National Parks Service, specializing in John Muir reenactments.
We will be meeting at the River Center (11605 Old Friant Rd, Fresno, CA) at 8:00 am, and will carpool to Ball Ranch from there. Please dress appropriately for a day outdoors (long pants, closed toed shoes, etc.) and bring sunscreen, binoculars, and water. This is a rain or shine event. Children 7+ welcome, no dogs please.
