Beginning Birder Hike @ Ball Ranch

Registration is closed for this event

Join us on March 4th for a beginning birder hike and explore Ball Ranch.  The Ball Ranch property, located off Friant road just north of Willow, is home to many native and migratory bird species.  This hike may cover anywhere from 2-4 miles, and will last approximately 2.5-3 hours.  Guide George F. is an avid birder who loves to share his passion and knowledge with the public and has been leading tours for the River Parkway Trust for several years.

We will be meeting at the River Center (11605 Old Friant Rd, Fresno, CA) at 8:00 am, and will carpool to Ball Ranch from there.  Please dress appropriately for a day outdoors (long pants, closed toed shoes, etc.) and bring sunscreen, binoculars, and water.  Leader(s) will have some loaner binoculars available.  This is a rain or shine event.  Children 12+ welcome, no dogs please.
